Elvie Allie Tubbs Porter 
(Died December 10, 2011) 
 
Elvie Allie Tubbs Porter was born in Ashley County, Arkansas on October 16, 
1926 and went Home December 10, 2011. Elvie was preceded in death by her 
parents, Monroe and Evie Tubbs; her husband, David Porter; her sisters, Mattie 
Jo Williams and Julia Shivers; her daughter, Virginia Luetke; and two 
grandsons, Garry Luetke and Thomas Porter. 

She is survived by her sisters, Nadine Zak and Alice Becker; her brothers, 
Floyd Tubbs and Alan Wayne Tubbs; her daughter, Kathleen Coyle and husband 
Ben; her sons, Nolan Porter and George Porter and wife Peggy; and one son-in-
law, Lee Luetke. She has six grandsons, Patrick Porter, George Porter, Michael 
Luetke, Harlen Coyle, Ben Coyle II, and Richard Huerta. She has numerous great-
grandchildren and loved ones who will miss her. 

Graveside funeral services will be held Thursday, December 15, 2011 at 1 p.m. 
at Memorial Park Cemetery, Bastrop, LA, with Dr. L.H. McCollough officiating. 
Visitation will be held Thursday from 11 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at Golden 
Funeral Home.
