Elvie was preceded in death by her parents, Monroe and Evie Tubbs; her husband, David Porter; her sisters, Mattie Jo Williams and Julia Shivers; her daughter, Virginia Luetke; and two grandsons, Garry Luetke and Thomas Porter. She is survived by her sisters, Nadine Zak and Alice Becker; her brothers, Floyd Tubbs and Alan Wayne Tubbs; her daughter, Kathleen Coyle and husband Ben; her sons, Nolan Porter and George Porter and wife Peggy; and one son-in- law, Lee Luetke. She has six grandsons, Patrick Porter, George Porter, Michael Luetke, Harlen Coyle, Ben Coyle II, and Richard Huerta. She has numerous great- grandchildren and loved ones who will miss her. Graveside funeral services will be held Thursday, December 15, 2011 at 1 p.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery, Bastrop, LA, with Dr. L.H. McCollough officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday from 11 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at Golden Funeral Home.
