John Jones officiating. Interment will follow under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home, Haynesville. Visitation was held from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Thursday, April 3, 2014 at the funeral home. Mrs. Porter was born on April 6, 1950 to Herbert Houston Brown and Margaret Sue Newton Ferrera in Lake Providence and passed away on Monday, March 31, 2014 in Bastrop. She was a retired dispatcher for SMI Steel in Magnolia. She is survived by her parents; husband, Randy Leon Porter; daughter, Stephenie Gray and husband, Billy of Haynesville; two sons, Jimmie Wallace and wife, Casey of Farmerville and Jeremy Wallace and wife, Lee Ann of Haynesville; nine grandchildren, Cameron Wallace, Jayden Wallace, Jason Talley, Zachary Perkins, Nicole Gray, Allie Gray, Tatum Wallace, Cadence Wallace and Haley Birdsong; two sisters, Debbie Flanagan and husband, Danny and Joyce Hessleroad; brother, Riley Brown and wife, Shelia and a host of nieces and nephews. Mrs. Porter was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Wayne Wallace and sister, Alice Brown.
