ROOSEVELT PRATER


Roosevelt "Bumpy" Prater, 51 of Bastrop, LA departed this life on Tuesday, 
December 9, 2025 at The Oaks Rehabilitation and Wellness Center in Mer Rouge, LA.  
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 20, 2025 at 1:00 pm at 
Greater First Church of God in Bastrop, LA. Visitation will be held on Friday, 
December 19, 2025 from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Chapel of Mitchell Funerals and 
Cremations of Bastrop, LA.  Burial will follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery in Oak 
Ridge, LA under the direction of Mitchell Funerals and Cremations of Bastrop, LA.
