She was born March 28, 1937 in Mer Rouge, Louisiana and she moved to Bastrop at a young age. She married Mayo Prud'homme on March 24, 1963 in Bastrop, Louisiana. Annette graduated from Louisiana Tech with a degree in Elementary Education. She retired in 1998. She enjoyed traveling, reading, and visiting friends and family. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Mrs. Prud'homme was preceded in death by her parents, H.O. and Beulah Berry, and by her brother Carl Berry. She is survived by her husband Mayo Prud'homme, her son Mayo Prud'homme Jr. (Tad) and wife Judith, her daughter Julie Prud'homme Barker and husband Philippe. She is also survived by three granddaughters Megan and Ashley Prud'homme and Annette Demartinos, a special friend and sister-in-law Vivian Duggan and husband Ted, sister-in-law Wanda Berry, and a host of nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Memorial services for Mrs. Prud'homme will be held at Christ Episcopal Church in Bastrop, Louisiana on March 7, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. with Reverend Edward M. Head officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorials be made to Christ Episcopal Church, P.O. Box 52, Bastrop, Louisiana 71220.
