OLLIE JONES PYLANT

Mrs. Ollie Jones Pylant, age 70, of the Bearskin community near Pioneer died 
Sunday afternoon in Richland Parish Hospital at Delhi after a lengthy illness. 
Mrs. Pylant was the mother of Hilton E. Pylant of Bastrop.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. in New Prospect Baptist Church 
at Bearskin with the Reverend Ray Woodard officiating. Interment will follow in 
Unity Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home of Delhi.

Mrs. Pylant had resided in West Carroll Parish for 53 years and was a member of 
the Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Willie A. Pylant Sr. of Pioneer; six sons, W.A. 
Pylant Jr. of New Orleans, Hilton E. Pylant of Bastrop, Marvin A. Pylant of 
Metairie, Morris A. Pylant of Bossier City, H. Eugene Pylant of Chalmette; two 
daughters, Mrs. Armentha Pylant Dodd of New Orleans, Mrs. Willene Pylant Hendrix 
of Pioneer; two brothers, Harvey E. Jones of Andrews, Tex., and Henry F. Jones 
of Pioneer; 18 grand-children and six great-grandchildren.
