BASTROP DAILY ENTERPRISE - JANUARY 29, 1975
L.E. RAWLS

L.E. Rawls, 66, a former resident of Bastrop succumbed today at the Lakeside 
Hospital in Morgan City, following a short illness. He was brother to the late 
Dr. Jack Rawls of Bastrop.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete but will be under the direction of Golden 
Funeral Home in Bastrop and interment will follow in the Sardis Cemetery in West 
Monroe.

Rawls is survived by two sons, Charles Rawls of Baton Rouge and Bobby Joe Rawls 
of Morgan City and three sisters; Mrs. Birdie Nolan of Pine Bluff, Ark., Mrs. 
Maude Head of Bastrop and Mrs. Musa Deats of West Monroe.

Services have been tentatively scheduled for Friday, but a firm date and time 
will announced later.
