Tim Post officiating. Private interment will be in the Bartholomew Methodist Cemetery. Visitation with family will precede the service, beginning at 1:00 PM. Mr. Roberson, a resident of Bastrop, passed away Tuesday, February 28, 2023, at the age of ninety. He was a United States Army Veteran and served during the Korean war. He was a retired employee of Mississippi River Transmission and driver for Grace Chemicals. Mr. Roberson was the oldest living member of the Masonic Lodge in Hamburg, AR, and a 50 plus member of the Louisiana Masonic Lodge. He also was an honorary member of the Louisiana Sheriff’s Association. Mr. Roberson is preceded in death by his parents, Zack and Mary Roberson: wife, Joyce Roberson, daughter, Debra Farr; son, Andy Roberson; and sisters, Dorothy Brooks, Maxine McKee, and Joann Harris. Survivors include his daughter, Cindy Jones, and husband Jeff, of Bastrop; grandchildren, April Johnson, Patchez Peterson, and husband Jonathan, and Stephanie Lowery, and husband Timmy; and great-grandchildren, J.T. Wall, Layla Wall, Ethan Norwood, Noah Peterson, Promise Peterson, Lexie West, and Drake West.
