Golden Funeral Home - January 2018
FRED W. JR. ROBINSON

Funeral services for Mr. Fred W. Robinson, Jr. are scheduled for 2 PM, 
Tuesday, January 9, 2018, at the chapel of Golden Funeral Home, with Bro. 
Joey Kennedy officiating.  Concluding services will take place at the 
Portland Cemetery, Portland, AR.  Mr. Robinson, a farmer and truck driver, 
and a resident of Bastrop, passed away Satuday, January 6, 2018, at the age 
of eighty-seven.  Visitation will take place Monday, January 8, from 5 - 7 
PM, at Goldens.

Mr. Robinson is preceded in death by his wife, Iva Dell Robinson; parents, 
Mamie and Fred Robinson; and eleven brothers and sisters.

Survivors include his daughters, Mamie "Cricket" Crow and husband Willie, of 
Mer Rouge, Sheila Robinson, and husband Tiamon, of Bastrop, Freda R Hodges, 
and husband Bruce, Of Walker, LA, and Renee Naff and husband Derrall of 
Bastrop; son Fred W. Robinson, III; sister, Mable Jones; grandchildren, 
David Robinson, Nikki Dedon, Ashley Carter, Joey Flanagan, Leighann Merrill, 
Robyn Merrill; and great-grandchildren, Dillon Mallett, Sarah Langdon, David 
Robinson, Savannah Robinson, Blaine Price, Addy Robinson, Jake Robinson.

He was a veteran of the United States Army.  He loved hunting, going to 
Beekman to see the cows, and drove for Gregory Oil Company, and retired from 
Moore Oil Company. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them.  
He was a loving father and grandfather who will be dearly missed.

Serving the family as pallbearers will be Bobby Stokes, Michael Chadwick, 
Jacob Dedon, Dickie Haile, Will Eubanks, Ron Merrill, and Joe Wilson.  
Honorary pallbearers will be Willie Crow, Bruce Hodges, Tiamon Robinson, 
Derrall Naff, and the members of State Line Hunting Club in Crossett, AR.
