BASTROP DAILY ENTERPRISE - DECEMBER 8, 1977
VIOLA RODGERS

Funeral services for Mrs. Viola Rodgers, 70, of Bastrop will be held Friday, at 
10 a.m in the chapel of Golden's Funeral Home. The Rev. Torris Eldridge will 
officiate

Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mrs. Rodgers died Wednesday at 5:30 p.m in the Cherry Ridge Nursing Home 
following a long illness.

She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Emma Smith of Slidell, LA; two sons, Bobby 
Rodgers and Tommy Rodgers both of Bastrop, two sisters, Mrs. J.P. Flanagan of 
Bastrop and Mrs. Cora Mullins of West Monroe, seven grandchildren and one great 
grandson
