Grand St. in Monroe will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Mulhearn's Funeral Home of Monroe with Rev. Mark Reed officiating. Mr. Rogers was the grandfather of Mrs. James Johnson of Hill Avenue in Bastrop. Burial will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Rogers died Sunday at St. Francis Hospital after a lengthy illness. He was a member of the First Christian Church of Monroe. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. J.D. McKeithen, of Monroe and Mrs. Leona Thomas of Bastrop; a sister Mrs. Henry Reim of Enid, Okla; a brother, Truman C. Rogers, Enid Okla; three grandchildren and two great-grandsons. Pallbearers will be Bob Wunsch, Jim Altick, Pete Carroll, J.D. Kelley, J.C. Holloway, Baxter McDonald, Tom Mix and Carlton Yeager.
