BASTROP DAILY ENTERPRISE - MARCH 13, 1975
JOSEPH HUNTER ROSS

Joseph Hunter Ross, 67, died this morning at Morehouse General Hospital after a 
brief illness.

Services are scheduled for Saturday, March 15 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Golden 
Funeral Home with the Rev. Fred Keyes officiating. Interment will follow in the 
Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mr. Ross was born in Mississippi and had lived in Morehouse Parish for the past 
15 years.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Gladys Ross of Monroe; a son, J.H. Ross Jr. of 
Montgomery, Ala.; two daughters, Mrs. Nolan Harper of Bastrop and Mrs. Milton 
Hale of West Monroe; one sister, Mrs. Mamie Martin of Sterlington; 12 
grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren
