Dennis Hackler officiating. Interment will be held in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9 AM until 10 AM Thursday morning at Golden's. Mr. Ryder, a retired International Paper Company employee, passed away November 10, 2025. He was a faithful follower of his Lord Jesus and served as a deacon at Cherry Ridge Baptist Church. He was an avid deer hunter and proud supporter of the National Rifle Association. Mr. Ryder was a devoted family man and loved his wife dearly, taking special care of her during her illness. He was very proud of his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He also enjoyed the time spent with his wife traveling. He is survived by his daughters, Cherrie Dickerson and the late Randall Dickerson, Brandi Martinez and husband Don; son-in-law, Alan Bankston; brother, Glenn Ryder and wife Patsy; grandchildren, Jason Bankston and wife Ashley, Colby Dickerson and wife Kristyn, Brady Dickerson and wife Danielle, Paige Martinez; great grandchildren, Olivia Bankston, Ridge Bankston, Chloe Dickerson, Brooks Dickerson, Navy Dickerson, Henry Dickerson and Silas Dickerson; special friend and honorary family member, Gerald Lester. Mr. Ryder is preceded in death by his wife, Linda Ryder; daughter, Sheryl Bankston; parents, Harry and Cleo Ryder; son-in-law, Randall Dickerson. Serving as pallbearers will be Jason Bankston, Alan Bankston, Colby Dickerson, Brady Dickerson, Todd Ryder and Gerald Lester. Honorary pallbearer will be Barry Ryder.
