SHAMBLIN Funeral services for Sam W. Shamblin, 62, were set for 2 p.m. today in the chapel of Golden's Funeral Home with the Rev. George Sherman officiating. Interment was set in the Beekman Cemetery under the direction of Golden's. Shamblin died Thursday morning in the emergency room of Morehouse General Hospital after suffering an apparent heart attack. He was a native of Olla, La. and had lived in Bastrop for the past 41 years. He was also a member of the Beekman Memorial Methodist Church and a retired employee of International Paper Co. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Celeste Shamblin of Bastrop; three daughters, Mrs. Cecile Storment of Bastrop, Mrs. Melba Copell of Minden, and Mrs. Jim Johsnon of Sherman, Texas; two sons, Samuel C. Shamblin of West Monroe, and John W. Shamblin of Monroe; four sisters, Mrs. May Potter and Miss LaDora Shamblin, both of Monroe, Mrs. Ruth Nichols of Bastrop and Mrs. Beatrice Addison of Sterlington; one brother, George M.
