PHYLLIS ADELAIDE GEOGHAN SHARIK

Bastrop, La. -

Graveside services for Phyllis Adelaide Geoghan Sharik, 84, are scheduled for 
2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 24, 2008 at New Hope Cemetery, Jones with Bro. Kevin Baker 
officiating. Visitation will be held Sunday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Golden 
Funeral Home.


She was born November 6, 1924 in Glen Burnie, Md. She passed away November 21, 
2008 at Oak Woods Home for the Elderly. She was a homemaker and a resident of 
Mer Rouge.


She is preceded in death by her parents, Phillip and Nellie Ruth Geoghan; 
sister, Ruth Huntzinger; and grandson, Anthony Tubbs.


She is survived by two daughters, Barbara Sharik of Jones and Janet L. Baker 
and her husband Kevin of Severn, Md.; two sons, Michael James Sharik of 
Jarrettsville, Md. and David Paul Sharik and his wife Mary of Pasadena, Md.; 
sister, Patsy Chieces and her husband Richard of Glen Burnie, Md.; two 
brothers, Phillip Geoghan of South Carolina and Johnny Geoghan and his wife 
Lois of Bivalve, Md.; five grandchildren, Theresa Lynn Tubbs of Gulfport, 
Miss., Ian Carbaugh of Redmond, Wash., Adam Carbaugh and his wife Gloria of 
Forest Hill, Md., Carrie Sharik of Pasadena, Md., Scott Sharik of Pasadena, 
Md.; five great-grandchildren, Alisha Tubbs, Amanda Janowitz, Michael 
Carbaugh, Alicia Carbaugh, and Lauren Carbaugh.
