Golden Funeral Home - October 2016
JOHN WESLEY SHAW

Funeral services for Mr. John Wesley Shaw, age 77, of Swartz, LA are scheduled for
10 AM Saturday, October 15, 2016 in the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Bro.
Norman Bryant officiating. Interment will follow in Carter Cemetery.

Mr. Shaw, a retired Shop Foreman Master Sergeant in the National Guard, passed away
Tuesday, October 11, 2016 in Monroe, LA. He was a member of Rowland Road Baptist
Church. He enjoyed preparing for and spending time hunting and spending time with
his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Dianne Gorden Shaw; daughters, Sherry Canady
and husband Stanley of West Monroe, LA, Lisa Zagone of Swartz, LA, Tracy Luck and
husband Kevin of Minden, LA; sisters, Melba Woods of Choudrant, LA, Bobbi Smith of
Marion, LA; grandchildren, Wesley Canady, Hannah Luck, Lillie Zagone, Olivia Zagone,
Owen Canady; great grandchild, Greyson Canady; special friend and nephew, Johnny
Hughes and wife Ann and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Mr. Shaw is preceded in death by his parents, Robert G. and Pearl Green Shaw and
sisters, Ruth Shaw Hughes and Margie Shaw Sterling.

Visitation will be held Friday, October 14, 2016 from 5 PM - 7 PM at Golden Funeral
Home.
