Golden Funeral Home - March 2015
PATTIE J. HUDSON SIMS

Funeral services for Mrs. Pattie J. Hudson Sims are scheduled for 10 A.M. Monday,
March 23, 2015, at Trinity Assembly of God with Rev. Kenneth Pack officiating.
Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends
this Sunday from 5 P.M. until 8 P.M. at Golden Funeral Home.

Mrs. Sims, 67, passed away Friday, March 20, 2015 at her residence after a lengthy
illness. She was a resident of Bastrop, LA, where she worked as a receptionist for
Dr. Ware's office and Sharon's Beauty Shop. Mrs. Sims was also a member of Trinity
Assembly of God.

Mrs. Sims is survived by her husband, James W. Sims, Jr.; sons, Todd Sims and wife
Jacqueline, Shane and wife Melody; sister, Beth Shepherd and husband Johnny;
grandchildren, Gracee & Corban Sims, and D.J. & Jordan Stark; special loved one, and
extra daughter given by God, Buffy Goodson; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas David "Frog" and Aline Hudson; one
brother, Jackie Hudson.

Serving as pallbearers will be Robert Sims, Jr., Paul David Weddle, Jr., Jason
Floury, Keith Barton, Charlie Fullerton, Ricky Bostick and Heath Calhoun. The
honorary pallbearers will be James Arant, Howard Smith and Clarence Lowe.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Carter Cox and The Good
Shepherd Home Health for your care for their loved one.
