Jeannie Marie Sims, 51, of Bastrop, LA, departed this life on Thursday, January 
1, 2026 at her residence in Bastrop, LA.  Graveside services will be held at H.V. 
Adams Cemetery in Bastrop, LA at 11:00 AM, on Friday, January 9, 2026.  In case 
of rainy weather, services will be held at the Chapel of Mitchell Funerals and 
Cremations.  Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 8, 2026.  Burial will 
be at a later date, when the weather allows it, under the direction of Mitchell 
Funerals and Cremations of Bastrop, LA.
