Golden Funeral Home - October 2018
REEDA REED SISSON

Funeral services for Mrs. Reeda Reed Sisson, age 93, are scheduled for 2 PM
Sunday, October 14, 2018 in the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Bro. Tim Post
officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will
receive friends Sunday from 1:00 PM until 2 PM service time Sunday at Goldens.
Mrs. Sisson, a homemaker, was born August 8, 1925 in Wilmot, AR and passed away
Thursday, October 11, 2018 in Monroe, LA. She was a member of Cherry Ridge
Baptist Church where she was a Christian inspiration to many people. She enjoyed
spending time with her family, friends, shopping and reading.
Mrs. Sisson is survived by her daughter, Phyllis Parkhurst and husband Charles
of Leawood, KS; son, Ted Sisson and wife Sharon of Monroe, LA; sister, Doris Day
of Sterlington, LA; grandchildren, Stacey Stasior, Shea Rawls and husband
Ronnie, Peyton Parkhurst and wife Darcie, Parrish Richard and husband Nate;
great grandchildren, Rowan Rawls, Asher Rawls, Reed Parkhurst, Ridlee Parkhurst,
Bella Stasior;
She is preceded in death by her husband, Melton Sisson; and parents, Dave and
Claudia Reed; one sister, Virginia Ann Knight.
Serving the family as pallbearers will be Allen Anders, Richard Anders, Todd
Connelly, Ronnie Rawls, Peyton Parkhurst, and Nate Richard.
