Mrs. Slack, a widow since 1934 was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joe Nolan of Union Parish. Services will be held at the Holly Ridge Baptist Church Sunday April 21 at 2 p.m.. The Rev. Neally Shinn will preside. Mrs. Slack is survived by 10 children including three sons Johnnie Slack of Bastrop, Grady Slack and William Slack, both of Jones; seven daughters, including Mrs. Bob Armstrong of Bastrop, Mrs. W.F. Nolan of Point, La., Mrs. F.M. Lightsey of Fairbanks, Mrs. Delton Guice of Jones, Mrs. Joe Domico, and Mrs. Lee Ezanack, both of Monroe and Mrs. Duke Mayberry of Dallas, Tex.
