Pickens officiating. Interment will follow at Bartholomew Cemetery near Bastrop. Miss Smith died Saturday at New Orleans after a short illness. She resided at 712 Elm Street and was a retired employee of Inernational Paper Company. A native of Morehouse Parish, she had resided here all her life and was a member of the First Presbyterian. She is survived by one foster daughter, Mrs. Bob Andrews of New Orleans; four foster grandchildren and nine foster great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Wayne Andrews, John Andrews, Oscar Copeland, Glen Belden, Charlie Cheshire and Darwin Floyd.
