JOHNNIE KNOWLES SNYDER

Mrs. Johnnie Knowles Snyder, age 83, was born in Clovis, New Mexico in 1934, 
passed away Friday, January 19, 2018 in West Monroe, LA. Her family moved to 
California when she was in the fourth grade, where she was raised in 
Tuolumne County. In 2010 she moved to Bastrop, Louisiana. Johnnie was the 
Matriarch of our family, whom we counted on for love and support. She loved 
flowers, birds, embroidery and drawing, but most of all she loved her 
family.

She is survived by her son, Christopher Roberts and wife Catalina, son, 
Richard Roberts and wife Christy, daughter, Darlene and husband Dennis 
Andrews, daughter, Debbie and husband Bill Scott; 24 grandchildren; 21 great 
grandchildren; 3 brothers; a special niece, Melody Wright and numerous 
nieces and nephews.

Johnnie is preceded in death by her parents, Claude and Nova Knowles; four 
sisters; and daughter, Denece Adamietz.
