Tim Post and Bro. Carlos Trapp officiating. Interment will follow in the Stevenson Family Cemetery under the direction of Golden Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Sunday, December 27, 2015, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Bethel Baptist Church. Mr. Stevenson, a member of Bethel Baptist Church, passed away Friday, December 25, 2015, at the age of 64. He was a present member of the Beekman Charter School Board, a past member of the Morehouse Cattleman's Association and Morehouse General Hospital Board, and a past president of Local 582. Mr. Stevenson was a June 27, 1986 graduate of Forest Echos Vocational Technical School, where he returned to teach in 2005. He loved his family dearly, especially his two granddaughters whom he adored. He loved cattle farming and teaching. Mr. Stevenson had a deep desire for his students to be well- prepared when they completed his classes. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Donna Stevenson; mother, Floriene Stevenson; sons, Brandon Stevenson and wife Angie, Heath Stevenson and wife Brittney; grandchildren, Madde Stevenson and Riley Stevenson; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Charles and Diann Stapleton; two special nieces, Holley Hall and husband Casey, Courtney Johnson and husband Chris; and a host of relatives and friends. Mr. Stevenson is preceded in death by his father, Robert Lee Stevenson and brother, Tommie Lee Stevenson. Serving as pallbearers will be Mark White, Sam Little, Ronald Boone, Chance Eppinette, Ray Wilkerson, Wilbert Jackson, and Carl John Gwin. Honorary pallbearers will be Lynn Eppinette, Gerald Lester, Charles Stapleton, Nat Little, and Acie Orr.
