Gary Guice and Bro. Casey Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in Zachary Cemetery, Jones, LA, under the direction of Golden Funeral Home. The visitation will be held Monday, December 21, 2020, from 5 PM until 7 PM at the church. Mrs. Stone, a member of Bonita Road Baptist Church, was born on March 13, 1961 and passed away December 17, 2020, at the age of fifty-nine. She was an amazing mother, wife, sister, daughter, aunt, and friend. Mrs. Stone was an officer and dispatcher with the Morehouse Parish Sheriff’s Office for twenty years. She was on the MPSO Reserves and also served as a CASA counselor. Mrs. Stone is survived by her father, Leonard Nelson, Sr. of Marion, AR; husband, Odell Stone of Bastrop, LA; daughter, Dianna Stone of Bastrop, LA; niece, who was more like a daughter, Kelley Byrd and husband Steve of Jefferson, TX; son, Justin Singley; daughter, Diane Singley; brother, Lenard Nelson, Jr. of Pine Bluff, AR; brothers, Wayne Nelson and wife Sandy of Marion, AR, Tommy Nelson and wife Jane of Holland, KY; grandson, Michael Stone of Bastrop, LA; granddaughter, Victoria Ricks of Bastrop, LA; grandson, Jacob Singley; nephews, Michael Moss and wife Michelle, Josh Nelson; nieces, Lindsay Gill and husband Brandon, Shaunda Reap, Katherine Kelly and husband Beau, April Hickerson and husband Lea; a host of great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her mother and step-father, Geraldine and JB Bailey; step-mother, Norma Nelson; sister, Kathy Nelson; nephew, Ethan Nelson; and brother-in-law, David Moss. Serving as pallbearers will be Jamie Marble, Chason Carroll, Chris Thirdkill, Kirk Robertson, and Brent Boyte. Honorary pallbearers will be James Pirtle and Chad Harper.
