Funeral services for Mr. Danny Stuart, age 61, of Keithville, Louisiana will 
be held 10 a.m. Friday, July 18, 2008 at the Chapel of Cox Funeral Home of 
Bastrop with Rev. Harry Lilly officiating. Interment will follow at Memorial 
Park Cemetery under the direction of Cox Funeral Home.


Danny Bob Stuart was born October 10, 1946 in Farmville, Virginia and he 
passed away Sunday, July 13, 2008 in Keithville, Louisiana. Danny was a former 
resident of Bastrop having graduated from Bastrop High School in 1964. He was 
a member of the Louisiana Army National Guard and a twenty-seven year employee 
of the General Motors Corperation beginning work in 1981 as a millwright with 
the Shreveport assembly plant. Danny is preceded in death by his father Dave 
Stuart and a daughter Crystalyne Brooke Stuart.

He is survived by his two children, Jeremy Stuart and wife Amy Stuart of 
Bastrop and Stacci Stuart Hickingbottom and husband John "Little John" 
Hickingbottom of Bastrop; two granddaughters, Kiersten and Kylee Hickingbottom 
of Bastrop; his mother, Vivian Stuart of Bastrop; a brother, Herbie Stuart and 
wife Jeanie Stuart of Bastrop; a sister, Janet Odom of Crossett, Arkansas; and 
numerous nephews and nieces.

Serving as pallbearers are Jason Stuart, Freddie Culver, Wess Martin, Terry 
Anderson, Davey Daniels, John David Bell, and Rector Hopgood.

Visitation with the family will be held Thursday evening, July 17th, from 5 
p.m. until 8 p.m. at Cox Funeral Home of Bastrop.
