Mrs. Linda will be laid to rest at McKnight Cemetery in North Holly Ridge. Visitation will be held from 5 PM - 7 PM Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at Golden Funeral Home. Mrs. Linda Carolyn Swain was born October 4, 1946 in Shreveport, LA and passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on May 12, 2019. Mrs. Linda was the daughter of L C Page and Belver Cheatwood Page. She is survived by her loving husband of fifty-four years, Lloyd Swain; her sister, Karen Page Keller (Richard); her daughters, Rhonda Crews (Randall), and Kelly Cook (Wilson); her son, Lloyd Christopher Swain, Jr (Suzy); her granddaughters, Stephanie Gibson, Rebecca Hamm (David), Bridgette Crews, Kimberly Cullum, Bridgette Brown, Sierra Brown, Skye Brown, and Eryn Cook; her grandson, Kyle Cook and twelve great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Sharon Louise and Janice Lynn Page. Her life of seventy-two years was full of love and laughter. Linda grew up in Rayville, LA and graduated from Rayville High School in 1965. During grade school she met her husband, Lloyd Swain. From the time that they began dating at the age of sixteen, she and her husband Lloyd were inseparable. All of those that know them, know of their love and devotion to each other. For Linda, their children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren were her joy. She was also a faithful member of Central Church of Christ for many years where she served as Secretary, taught Sunday school, and served her church family. Serving as pallbearers are Kyle Cook, Trey Pardon, David Hamm, Devin Del Rio, Richard Keller III, and Richard Keller IV. Memorials may be made in her name to: Central Church of Christ in Bastrop, the Children’s Home Incorporated in Paragould, AR, or any Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
