Golden Funeral Home - October 2015
DOUGLAS ALLEN SMITH

Funeral services for Mr. Douglas Allen Smith, age 60, of Bastrop are 
scheduled for 10 AM Thursday, October 8, 2015, in the chapel of Golden 
Funeral Home, with Rev. Britt Dupree and Rev. Phillip McCready officiating. 
Interment will be at 3 PM Thursday at Summerville Cemetery in Trout, LA.

Mr. Douglas, a member of Central Missionary Baptist Church, passed away 
Tuesday, October 6, 2015.

He is survived by his mother, Betty Lou Smith, sister, Diane Hawkins, and 
Krista Smith.

Mr. Douglas is preceded in death by his father, Dalco Smith; brothers, 
Robert Smith and Charles Smith.

Pallbearers will be: Mark Hawkins, Charlie Smith, Buddy Smith, Rodney 
Hopkins, Greg Gregory and David Ingram. Serving as Honorary Pallbearers will 
be the Social Security Hounds Sunday School Class.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 7, 2015 from 6 PM - 8 PM at 
Golden Funeral Home.
