WILLIAM M. STEWART

Funeral services for Mr. William M. Stewart, Sr. age 81, of Spearsville, LA 
are scheduled for 3 PM Saturday, January 30, 2016 at Mt. Union Baptist 
Church In Spearsville, LA with Rev. Marcell McGee officiating. Interment 
will follow in Mt. Union Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of 
Golden Funeral Home.

Mr. Stewart was a member of Mt. Union Baptist Church and served his country 
in the United States Air Force.

He is survived by his wife of fifty-nine years, Carolyn Stewart; children, 
Carol Patrick of Spearsville, LA, Christy Jones and husband Steve of 
Spearsville, LA, Marie Weaver of Kansas, Becky Allen, Patty Callais and 
husband Kevin of Georgia, Lisa Broset and husband Carl of Alabama, William 
M. Stewart, Jr. and wife Kitty of Spearsville, LA; Sisters, Lucille, 
Barbara, Sandra and Diane; brothers, Buster, James and Johnny; twenty-five 
grandchildren and forty-four great grandchildren.

Mr. Stewart is preceded in death by his father, John Walters Stewart, Sr.; 
mother, Maud Reed; brother, J.W. Stewart; sister, Myrtis and half-sister, 
Brenda.

Friends and family members will serve as pallbearers.

Visitation will be held Friday, January 29, 2016 from 6 - 8 PM at the 
church.
