CHARLES RAY TIPTON


Graveside services for Mr. Charles Ray Tipton are scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday,
June 27, 2015, at Pine Grove South Cemetery with Rev. Jeff May officiating.

Mr. Tipton, a resident of Bastrop, LA, passed away Thursday, June 25, 2015, at the
age of 84. He was a retired tile setter and an United States Army veteran who served
in the Korean War.

He is survived by his sister, Earline Gilbert Rushing and husband Herman of Bastrop,
LA; daughter, Betty Sue May and husband Jerry of Bastrop, LA; grandchildren, Amber
Johnson of West Monroe, LA, Kaleb May of Bastrop, LA, Kelly May and wife Chelsea of
Bastrop, LA; three great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mr. Tipton is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Sue Tipton; father and mother,
Clinton R. Tipton, Sr. and Luner Triplet Tipton; brother, Clinton R. Tipton, Jr.;
sisters, Edna Wright and Gladys Adkins.
