Octave Lovely "Jr." Trahan


Bastrop, La. - 
Graveside services for Mr. Octave Lovely "Jr." Trahan, 71, of Bastrop will be 
held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, August 20, 2008 at Carter Cemetery with the Rev. 
Dale Jordan officiating. Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, August 
19 at Golden Funeral Home.


Mr. Trahan, a construction worker and local landscaper, passed away Sunday, 
August 17, 2008 at Summerlin Lane Nursing Home.


Mr. Trahan is preceded in death by his wife, Sylvia Trahan; the mother of his 
children, May Alice Albarado; parents, Tiny Bourque and Ena Trahan; 
grandparents, Hubert and Olymph Simon Trahan; and half sister, Louise Carrier.


He is survived by his daughter, Susan Trahan of Lafayette; his son, Billy 
Trahan and wife Darlene Richard of Lafayette; two half sisters, Sandra Bourque 
and Deanna Bourque; three half brothers, Ray Trahan, Floyd Bourque and Robert 
Bourque; four step sisters, Linda Pellerin, Joann Romero, Grace Romero and Bell 
Thomas; two step brothers, Paul Sittig and Sable Boudreaux; three 
grandchildren, Erica Broussard, Vickie Halterman and Amy Smith; and four great 
grandchildren, Spencer Bares, Matthew Bares, Bailey Bares and Ava Smith.
