TRICHELL Joseph Aubrey Trichell, Sr., of West Monroe, Louisiana, was called Home on February 27, 2026. He was born on September 22, 1938, in Bastrop, Louisiana, to Leonard and Lorena Trichell. He is preceded in death by his parents, his siblings, his wife Patsy, and his eldest grandson, Trey. Left to treasure his memory are his children, Joseph Trichell Jr. (Felicia), Neil Trichell (Susan), Lori Trichell McLemore, and Willie Trichell (Renae); along with numerous adored nieces and nephews. He was a proud grandfather of Jacob Trichell, Justin Golson (Sydney), Emily Dennis (Stephen), Reid Golson (Maggie), Jordan Clay (Will), Katie Tremaine (Richard), Mallorie Valencia (Alvin), Cole Trichell, Anna Claire Trichell, and Ella Trichell. He was a beloved great-grandfather to Vayda Mae, Deuce, Everett, Collier, Laurel, Alaina, Evelyn, Knox, Olivia, Nolan, Pierce, Gage, William, Lucy Jane, Aubrey Jo, Rosie, Jasper, and two precious foster great-granddaughters. Joe loved his family with unparalleled devotion and worked throughout his life to take care of them in any way he could. As a young man, he proudly served in the United States Navy and later enjoyed a long and dedicated career with Entergy, formerly Louisiana Power & Light. Joe took great pride in a home filled with loved ones and in the close bonds he shared with family and friends. His selflessness and loyalty were steady, strong, and evident in everything he did. He treasured a simple and meaningful life while loving to fish, hunt, gardening, and savor a good cup of coffee. The family invites family and friends to a visitation that will be held from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM, Monday, March 2, 2026 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in West Monroe. A graveside service to follow at 3:30 PM at Mulhearn Memorial Park under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home in West Monroe. Officiating will be Bro. Neil Trichell and Bro. Richard Langston. Pallbearers will be Don Caldwell, Cole Trichell, Richard Tremaine, Will Clay, Stephen Dennis, Paul Branch, and Steve Williams. Honorary pallbearers will include Sandy Garrett, Jacob Claude Trichell, Jr., Justin Golson, Reid Golson, Alvin Valencia, and Todd Washer.
