Dwight Fulton and Rev. A.J. Fulton officiating. Mr. Tullis passed away Saturday, December 24, 2016 at the age of eighty-seven. Visitation will be Monday, December 26, 2016, from 5 - 7 PM, at Goldens. Mr. Tullis is preceded in death by his parents, Earnest Lincoln and Bertha Helen Tullis; and brothers, James Tullis and David Tullis. Survivors include his wife, Marlene Tullis; children, Alton W. Tullis and wife Janet, of Bastrop, Willard D. Tullis, of Bastrop, Helen B. Stewart and husband Calvin, of Bastrop, and Linda A. Foster and husband Donald, of Bastrop; grandchildren, Tamara Tullis, David Ritzell, Jeremy Foster, Melony Mason, Joshua Tullis, Joshua Higginbotham, Jessica Hemphill, Bryan Tullis, David Tullis, Lane Orr, and Heath Orr; great-grandchildren, Cheyanne, Noah, Ceirra, Marissa, Brianna, Matthew, Jaylenn, Faith, A.J., Harley, Kaylee, Keira, Baylon, Rylnn, Lucas, Vivian, Lillian, Brody, and Brooklynn. Mr. Tullis was a member of the Bastrop United Pentecostal Church, a veteran of the Korean War, an employee of International Paper Company for thirty- seven years, as well as an accomplished fiddle player.
