Golden Funeral Home - October 2015
MARY K. SISSON TURNER

Funeral services for Mrs. Mary K. Sisson Turner, age 85 are scheduled for 
10:30 AM Tuesday, October 13, 2015 at Golden Funeral Home with, her son, Dr. 
Emil Turner officiating. Interment will follow in Bartholomew Methodist 
Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 PM until 7 PM Monday, 
October 12, at Golden Funeral Home.

Mrs. Turner, a resident of Bastrop and member of First Baptist Church, 
passed away Saturday, October 10, 2015. she was a beloved member of the 
Clarklea Garden Club and a wonderful hostess. She loved her family very 
much.

She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Bernie Turner; sons Dr. Emil 
Turner and wife Mary, Barry Turner and wife Reba, Dan Turner and wife Pam; 
sister, Ernestine McDonald; brother, Thomas Laing; grandchildren, Joel 
Turner, Jonathan Turner, Justin Turner, Marshall Turner, Matthew Turner, 
Jessica Densmore; and eleven great grandchildren.

Mrs. Turner is preceded in death by her parents, Emil and Emma Sisson; and 
her sister, Genoa Laing.

Serving as pallbearers will be her grandsons.
