Bruce Lunsford and Rev. David Woodard officiating. Turner died about 5 p.m. Wednesday on Exxon Co's Penrod Rig 43 in the Lirette Field below Monteguet/ According to Penrod Safety Director Vernon Ramke, Turner was roughnecking and got his food caught on the rotary table when it backlashed and threw him into an air cylinder, injuring his head. A Penrod spokesman said the accident is under investigation by the company's safety division. Survivors include his mother, Mrs. Ruth Turner of Oak Grove; one son, Kenneth Wayne Turner of Oak Grove; three brothers. Jimmy Turner of Oak Grove, Jack Turner of Lake Providence and William F.
