Milton “Keith” Walker are scheduled for 2:00 PM Friday, June 2, 2023 at First Baptist Church, Bastrop, LA with Rev. Richard Gambill, Rev. Jim Ingram and Mr. Alan Nelson officiating. A time of visitation will be held Friday from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM service time at the church. Rev. Walker, a Southern Baptist Minister, passed away Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at the age of sixty-eight surrounded by his loving family. He served churches in Texas, Alabama, and Louisiana for forty-four years. Rev. Walker served mainly as an Associate Pastor of Education. Graduating in 1973 from Bastrop High School. He graduated from Louisiana College in 1979 with a Religious Education Degree, continuing his education and graduating in 1986 from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, with a master's degree in religious education. He most recently served as the Office Manager at First Baptist Church for over fourteen years. Rev. Walker is survived by his wife of forty-five years, Pam Smith Walker of Bastrop, LA; children, William Walker and wife, Molly of Paris, TX, Kiley Walker and wife, Alexis of Downsville, LA, and Joanna Howard and husband, Richard of Bastrop, LA; parents, John and Mae Walker; mother-in-law, Billie Ruth Porter of Bastrop, LA; brother-in-law, Mike Smith and wife, Melissa; brother, Doug Walker and wife, Kathy; grandchildren, Hendrix Howard, Eli Howard, Buddy Harville, Evie Walker, Jack Walker, Jagger Walker and Kiley Wells Walker; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family. He is preceded in death by his brother, Steve Walker and sister-in-law, Sandra Walker; father-in-law, J.W. Smith; and brother-in-law, Pat Smith.
