Jessie "Goldwater" Ware, Jr. 100 of Bastrop, LA, departed this life on Friday, 
January 9, 2026 at Oakwoods Home for the Elderly in Mer Rouge, LA.  Funeral 
service will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2026 at 11:00 am at New Jerusalem 
#2 M.B.C. in Bastrop, LA.  Visitation will be on Friday, January 9, 2026 from 
3:00 pm to 6:00 pm . at the Chapel of Mitchell Funerals and Cremations in 
Bastrop, LA.  Burial will follow at H. V. Adams Cemetery in Bastrop, LA,  under 
the direction of Mitchell Funerals and Cremations of Bastrop, LA.
