NANCY MONTGOMERY WILLIAMS

The family of Nancy Montgomery Williams is deeply saddened to announce her 
passing at the age of 94 on February 21, 2026. Nancy was born on July 10, 1931 
in Bastrop Louisiana to Bernice and Earl Montgomery. She grew up in Springhill, 
Louisiana and attended Northwestern Louisiana University graduating as a 
Registered Nurse. While at college, Nancy met the love of her life Jim Williams. 
They were introduced in English class in 1948 and later married in 1951. Nancy 
spent most of her nursing career as the Operating Room Head Nurse at Glenwood 
Hospital in West Monroe. She and Jim enjoyed boating and skiing on the Ouachita 
River with family and friends. They traveled extensively and enjoyed themselves 
in dance and social clubs. They had a blessed, wonderful marriage of 72 years. 
Nancy will be lovingly remembered by her children, James Ray Williams, Jr. and 
wife Mary Catherine, Charles Edward Williams and wife Gina, Lynda Ann Williams 
and Alisa Davis and husband Stuart; granddaughters, Christin Stoufflet and 
husband Brennan, Hannah Davis and Sarah Davis. She is blessed with three great 
grandchildren; Addison, Cason and Perrin Stoufflet.

A funeral service will be held at St. Paschal Catholic Church in West Monroe on 
March 7, 2026 at 12 noon.
