EARNEST WILLIAMS

Earnest Williams, 81, of Rahway, New Jersey, formally of Bastrop, LA, departed 
this life on Friday, January 9, 2026, at the Robert Wood Johnson University 
Hospital in New Brunswick City, New Jersey.  Funeral service will be held on 
Wednesday, January 28, 2026 at New Jerusalem #2 MBC in Bastrop, LA at 12:00 noon. 
Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 12 noon before the service at the church.  
Burial will follow at a later date, due to inclement weather, at H. V. Adams 
Cemetery in Bastrop, LA, under the direction of Mitchell Funerals and Cremations 
of Bastrop, LA.
