She was born in Dermott, AR, and graduated from Forest High School. She was a member of Reily Memorial United Methodist Church and Beta Sigma Phi. Kaye was an independent, soft-spoken women and a life-long dog lover. She was truly loved and will be missed by so many. A memorial service is scheduled for 2- 4 pm Sunday, April 22 at Reily Memorial United Methodist Church in Collinston. The memorial services will begin at 2 pm (Rev. Lisa Mayo officiating) and a celebration of life reception will follow in the hall next door. Ms. Witcher is survived by her mother, Mildred Flynn Maxwell of Bastrop, LA; son, Anthony Witcher and wife Carrie of Rock Island, TN; brother, Lewis C. Wells and wife Janice of West Monroe, LA; niece, Felicia Wells Toler of Crossett, AR; nephew, Jason Wells of Vicksburg, MS; close friends and extended family; and her two beloved canine companions, Sweetie and Sugar. She is preceded in death by her father, Lewis Wells; brother, Roger Wells; step-father, Jay Maxwell; and beloved canine companion, Moofy. The immediate family extends their heartfelt thanks to the family members and dear friends who supported Kaye during her battle with cancer. The family also expresses their deepest gratitude to Dr. Carter Cox and the nursing staff of Morehouse General Hospital who cared for her.
