T.C. Worley, a prominent young planter of Prarie Merrouge (sic), 
Morehouse parish accidentally shot and killed himself with a pistol 
while walking in his field Wednesday. The pistol ball struck him in the 
face near the nose, going almost through his head. He was the only son 
of Mr. A.T. Worley, for a long time one of the most prosperous planters 
of Morehouse.
