DENNIS J. WELCH

Dennis J. Welch moved on from this world on May 20, 2015. He was born October 3
1962, raised in Bastrop, LA, and spent the past 25 years a proud Texan. Dennis never
met a stranger. If you were his friend, it was a friendship that could not be
diminished by time or distance. He was a kind, gentle, innocent soul who brought
happiness wherever he went. He was a huge fan of strong female performers,
especially Tina Turner, Kate Bush, and Donna Summer. He also loved word puzzles,
musical theater, world travel and Sweet Tea.

Mr. Welch is survived by his sister, Sandy Lucas and husband Donald of Bastrop, LA
and preceded in death by his father, Roy C. Welch, Jr.; mother, Clarice Mary Smith
Welch; brother, Roy C. Welch III and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles N. Smith.

Graveside services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, May 30, 2015 at Memorial Park
Cemetery with Rev. Phillip McCready officiating. Funeral arrangements are under the
direction of Golden Funeral Home.
