Tuesday, August 3, 2004 at Cox Funeral Home in Bastrop with the Rev. Britt Dupree and Rev. Charles Dupree officiating. Interment will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery in Bastrop under the direction of Cox Funeral Home. Visitation with the family will be from 5 pm till 8 pm Monday at the Cox Funeral Home in Bastrop. Mrs. Christmas was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and homemaker. She was a member of the Central Missionsary Baptist Church of Bastrop and the Busy Bee Homemaker's and Quilting Club of Bastrop. She was preceded in death by her parents; Thomas P. Wilson and Lucy Mae Wilson of Portland, Arkansas, one brother, O.D. (Hux) Wilson and one sister; Virgie Hogue. Survivors include her husband; Carroll Vallette (C.V.) Christmas of Bastrop, three daughters; Debbie Pettis and husband Ronald, Mary Bryan and husband Troy all of Bastrop, Faye Frost and husband Jack of Houston, Texas, three granddaughters; Tiffney Rome and husband Scott of Bastrop, Jessica Newton and husband Todd of West Monroe, Crystal Frost of Houston, Texas, grandson; Matt Spikes and wife Beth of Bastrop, three great-granddaughters; Bailey Rome, Abbi Spikes, and Riley Newton, three brothers; Bill Wilson, George Wilson, and Tommy Noel Wilson all of Portland, Arkansas, two sisters; Pat Temples of Birmingham, Alabama, and Ruby Bennett of Hot Springs, Arkansas, sister-in-law; Mary Wilson of Crossett, Arkansas, brother-in-law; Jimmy Christmas and wife Peggy of Bastrop, a very special niece; Susan White, beloved friend and caretaker; Lessie Reed, and a host of wonderful nieces, nephews, and friends. Pallbearers will be Darrell White, Dr. Terry Tugwell, Reggie White, Scott Donaldson, Howard Halterman, and Earl (Sonny) Moon. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Mike Smith, Robert Hawkins, J.C.
