(my comments on the above info)  All of the above people are deceased
but some of their decendants are still alive.

The Rufus J Stephens  and  Aurelia Dupre' above are the parents of Annese
Stephens.

It is my understanding that Emma Fletcher is the 1st wife of Rufus J
Stephens. Eli Stephens is the son of Annese Stephens whom she had before
the family moved from Houma to Natchitoches.  The way I aquired it was from my
brother and sister in law (Sam and Sharon (Eakin)Cox, who now live in
Fairbanks, Alaska. Sharon copied it from the Family bible which was then in
the possession of Sarah Cox Casey(now deceased) of Natchitoches Parish, Oak
Grove, La.
