The Tarver Cemetery is located on US Forest Service Land in the Kisatchie
National Forest north of Leesville, Louisiana .

Traveling north on LA 117 , you will go through a small town named Kisatchie .
Continue north on LA 117  until you come to the Forest Service Work Station at
PR830 . Turn left at this  intersection and you will be on  FS 337 (a right
turn would take you to the Forest Service Work Station  and towards Longleaf )
.

After turning left to FS337, take the gravel road to the right . This road is
within sight and parallel's  LA117 . At this point , you will travel
approximately 1/2 mile north on the gravel road . There is a logging road just
to the right (East) . Walk down this road  about 185 paces (you will be going
east ) at this point you will see a footpath turning south,  walk this path
about 80 paces and you should be able to see two graves . Jobe & Olive Tarver
are buried here . There is also another grave that is about 40 paces to the
North-east from Olive's headstone . The person buried there is Callie Addison
Edwards .


This site appears to be an Old Homestead , but nothing  recognizable remains ,
except the Graves .

The graves are as follows :

Grave #1
  
   Jobe Tarver - Born March,7 1867  - Died June 21, 1933
  Across the top of this Gravestone is  "Father"
  There is also a Masonic Emblem on the top of the Marker.
   There is also this inscription "We Will Meet Again"

Grave #2

   Olive Rozilla Tarver - Born Dec. 4, 1866 - Died Nov.12, 1899
    Across the top of this Gravestone is "Mother"
    There is also this Inscription "We Will Meet Again"


Grave # 3       

      Callie Addison Edwards - Born 1862 - Died  1898 
    
      ( This Gravestone is just a cement covering with the 
       Name and dates scratched in . It is almost un-readable )
