U. S. CENSUS BUREAU WILL OPEN OFFICE DEC. 3
     The Census Bureau will officially open the Shreveport office this week
with a grand opening Friday, December 3 at 1 p.m.  The Shreveport Local
Census Office if located in west Shreveport in the Harry Patterson Building
at 6007 Financial Plaza.
     The Shreveport office will service the nine northwest Louisiana parishes
of Caddo, Bossier, Webster, Claiborne, Bienville, Red River, DeSoto, Sabine
and Natchitoches.
     Highlights during the grand opening will be a poster contest among Head
Start students of the Caddo Community Action Agency Inc. and musical
performance by the Caddo Heights Elementary Choir.
     A tour of the office will be conducted.  The public is invited to the
opening.
