I declare that I have lived and continued in the Holy Roman Catholic and Apostolic Religion, and wish to die in the same so that I call upon the infinite mercy of God, I entreat his pardon, the tears of the Blessed Virgin Mary, and the intercession of my patron saint. I wish to have the most simple of burials, and I refer here to the evening of my funeral, and the number of Masses which will be said for the repose of my soul, by the good intention of by beneficiaries named hereafter. I give and bequeath to the Parish Church of this Post the sum of fifty pounds, paid in one lump sum. My wish is that my beneficiary here named, Marie Silvie Huberdeau, I give her the responsibility for paying my debts against the assets that there will be on the day of my death.
