The Natchitoches Times January 7, 1965
Kitchenette Burns Monday

Fire of undertermined origin did approximately $3,000 damage to a kitchenette
behind the Revere Inn Motel Monday night, January 4, according to I. H.
Johnson Sr. owner.  He reports all contents of the unoccupied building were
lost, and half the building was destroyed.

Bob Hollingsworth, who assists in managing the kitchenetts, discovered the
blaze and assisted the City Fire Department in putting out the fire.

Johnson, stated the building, which was not covered by insurance will be
rebuilt.
