NOTICE FOR PUBLICATION

Land Office at Natchitoches,
Louisiana, March 17, 1903

Notice is hereby given that the following named settler has filed notice of
his intention to make final proof in support of his claim, and that said proof
will be made before the Register and receiver at Natchitoches, La., on April
24, 1903, viz: Homestead Entry No. 6985, Walter R. Whatley, of Lotus, La., for
the E « NW 1/2, and lots 1 and 2, Sec. 18, T. 5 N., R. 6 W., Louisiana
Meridian.

He names the following witnesses to prove his continuous residence upon and
cultivation of said land viz:

J.J. Cobb, M. W. Sanders, of Montrose, La., John Paddy, of McGlothlin, La., L.
H. Ford, of Mora, La.
