Whatley has been established and duly communsuated in conformity to law of the: East half of the North West Quarter and the lots numbered one and two of Section eighteen in township five North of Range six West of Louisiana Meridian in Louisiana containing one hundred fifty nine acres and ten hundredths of one acre according to the official Plat of the survey of the said Land returned to THE GENERAL LAND OFFICE by the SURVEYOR GENERAL Now Know Ye that there is therefore granted by the UNITED STATES unto the said Walter R. Whatley, the tract of Land above described: TO HAVE AND TO HOLD this said tract of land with the appurtenances thereof, unto the said Walter R. Whatley and to his heirs and assign forever. In testimony where of I, Theodore Roosevelt President of the United States of America, have caused these letters to be made. Patent and the Seal of the General Land Office to be hereunto affixed.
