Norred, April 2010 No. 11 Abraham Rinkel of the Parish of Natchitoches assignee of John Wiley has filed his notice claiming six hundred forty acres of land situated in the late Neutral Territory between the Rio Hondo and Sabine Rivers and designated on the public survey as Section No. 1 in Township No. 6 North of Range No. 8 West. This claim is founded on habitation and cultivation on and prior to the 22nd day of February 1819. States “that John Wiley had a dwelling house on the tract claimed several years prior to the 22nd day of February 1819 and that he occupied and cultivated the tract claimed by Abraham Rinkel on and prior to the said 22nd February 1819. The evidence of Isaac Warrick taken on the same day establishes fully the cultivation and occupancy of the tract claimed by Abraham Rinkel by the said John Wiley on and prior to the 22nd of February 1819. This claim was reported by the Registry and Receiver on the 7th [could be 1st] day of November 1824 and numbered in said report No. 103.
