Mrs. C. J. Pullen and E. T. Weaver spent Monday and Tuesday in Natchitoches on business. Miss Lemee Weaver spent the latter part of last week with Eula Pullen. Mrs. S. M. Thomas of Ringgold is spending awhile with her daughter Mrs Hpietsch who was has a severe case of measles. Quite a number from here attended the entertainment and box supper in Strange at the school house last Saturday night. All report a delightful time. An interesting ball game was played here Sunday afternoon between Strange and Chestnut, the score is 16 to 9 in favor of Chestnut. Mrs. Pearl Dobson of Strange and Mr. Ed Harper of Homer came to the ball game Sunday. The regular meeting of the I.O.O.F. lodge was held here Saturday night quite a number of members being present. Mrs. E. T. Weaver and children spent Sunday afternoon with Mrs. C. Pullen. Miss. Leana Bell Wheelers of Golddonna spent Friday with her aunt, Mrs. A. Carnagee. Mrs. R. I. Pullen spent Sunday with Mrs. L. J. Milton of this place. Mr. Herman Albruy of Homer Louisiana spent Tuesday in our town. "JOHNNY"
